It’s no secret that the Clippers are looking for point guard help. Los Angeles has been linked to George Hill recently and now, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the franchise is exploring a trade for Lonzo Ball.
It’s not certain that New Orleans will trade Ball before the deadline. The former No. 2 overall pick will be a restricted free agent at the end of the year and his anticipated contract will play a role in the Pelicans’ plans this upcoming week.
Ball is also receiving interest from the Knicks, who would also be in the mix to give the point guard an offer sheet in free agency this summer.
