The Boston Celtics traded Jrue Holiday on Tuesday morning and they are reportedly not done with making cost-saving moves.
Holiday was sent to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anferee Simons and a pair of future second-round picks, which saved them just under $5 million in player salary this upcoming season— but in reality saves them approximately $40 million accounting for the luxury tax.
Boston Not Done Trading
Kristaps Porzingis being traded will reportedly the next domino to fall, according to the New York Times.
Porzingis has one year remaining on his current contract where he is set to make $30.7 million.
