The Cavaliers are waiving Rayjon Tucker, acquired in a trade from the Utah Jazz on Friday, Amico Hoops has learned.
Tucker was acquired with a second round pick for cash considerations. His contract was set to become guaranteed for the 2020-21 season on Sunday.
There is a possibility the Cavs could bring back Tucker on a new deal prior to the start of training camp on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard appeared in 20 games with the Jazz last season, spending most of his time with the Wisconsin Herd of the G League. He was named G League Player of the Month in December.
