The Cavaliers believe they have three future All-Stars in Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland, Terry Pluto of cleveland.com writes.
Because of that, they don’t want to make any move that would break those three up, as they believe it would mess up their team chemistry.
The Cavs have been rumored to be a landing spot for Ben Simmons, but given their current success and the fact that Simmons hasn’t played a game all season long, they’d likely steer away unless they can somehow get him without giving any of those three guys up.
Any trade for Simmons would likely have to include at least one of those three guys, however.
The last time the Cavs and Sixers spoke about Simmons was back in training camp, Pluto relays in a different article.
