The Chicago Bulls are expected to be active ahead of the trade deadline and rumblings about what the front office is looking for in a roster shakeup are beginning to trickle out.
Zach LaVine is rumored to be on the trade block and the Bulls are rumored, at least for the moment, to be looking for win-now pieces rather than making potential tear-down and rebuilding maneuvers. Chicago has attempted to move LaVine for other All-Star players, such as Cleveland’s Darius Garland, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
The Bulls are still searching for the type of haul that a multi-time All-Star typically draws, which LaVine certainly is based on résumé: an established starter, plus a young player with upside and then first-round draft capital, according to league sources.
DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso are among other members of the Bulls who have been mentioned in trade rumors.
