The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 118-107 in game 6 to wrap this series up. Once again the Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo. He was still out with his knee sprain, dislocation. The other Bucks players stepped up big and they were able to close this series out in Atlanta. The Bucks are now in their first NBA Finals since 1974.
Khris Middleton once again led the way for the Bucks. He scored 32 points on 10 of 22 shooting from the field. He logged 41 minutes of playing time. He also shot 4 of 10 from the three-point line. He added 4 rebounds and dished out 7 assists as well. Middleton scored 23 points in the third quarter alone. He was absolutely COOKING! Middleton spoke on his mindset and how he was feeling when he was doing work in game 6.
“My teammates and my coaches, they told me to keep being aggressive,” Middleton said. “I love it. Each one of these guys, they work every single day. Everybody stays ready. Everybody stays locked in. We all play for each other. And that’s all you can ask for.”
Other Bucks players stepped up to help the team get the win and advance to the NBA Finals.
- Jrue Holiday scores 27 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 9 assists.
- Brook Lopez scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
- Bobby Portis scored 12 points bad grabbed 9 rebounds.
- Jeff Teague scored 11 points off of the bench.
- Pat Connaughton scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds off of the bench.
