Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer is hiring Josh Oppenheimer as an assistant, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Oppenheimer, 51, previously served as an assistant with the Bucks under former coach Larry Drew.
A longtime college assistant, Oppenheimer has also spent time as an assistant with the Houston Rockets, as well as with the G League’s Long Island Nets.
He spent last season as an assistant at James Madison, and was an assistant at Kent State from 2005-08.
The Bucks have finished with the NBA’s best regular-season record each of the previous two seasons.
