Bryn Forbes is declining his player option for the 2021-22 season and will be heading into unrestricted free agency, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Forbes established himself as one of the better 3-point shooters in the league this season, sinking in 154 of his 341 attempts while seeing under 20 minutes a night on average.
In Milwaukee’s first-round series sweep over the Heat, Forbes made seven triples in the clinching game, which is the most threes a Bucks player made in a playoff game since Ray Allen in 2001, when the Bucks were in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Sixers.
Wherever Forbes ends up, he’ll likely be forever celebrated by the Milwaukee faithful for being a significant part of the franchise’s first championship in 50 years.
