Andre Drummond, who is a free after agreeing to a contract buyout with Cleveland, could make his decision on Saturday, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times. Turner adds that the Lakers and Celtics are each in the running with the Knicks also having a shot at landing Drummond.

Boston has met with the big man, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN (h/t Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports). The Celtics dealt away center Daniel Theis at the trade deadline
Several Lakers players have been recruiting the big man. While it’s unknown which players are making pitches, our own Sam Amico, who covered LeBron James during both his stints in Cleveland, shared that the 4-time MVP was known for trying to get big names to the Cavs when he was there.
Before agreeing to a buyout, the Cavaliers opted to sit Drummond while they searched for a trade. No deal materialized and several former players who spoke to Amico told the scribe that Cleveland’s strategy was a head-scratcher.
