WASHINGTON D.C. — Scott Brooks’ future status as the coach of the Wizards gained no more clarity after Brooks and Tommy Sheppard spoke to the media in Washington.

The Wizards made the playoffs this season after going through struggles with injuries, such as losing Thomas Bryant for the year and Russell Westbrook for a significant stretch, and COVID battles that forced the team to lockdown in the middle of the season.
