Free agent point guard David Stockton has agreed to a contract with Puerto Rican club Mets de Guaynabo, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Stockton, 29, is a G League lifer and spent last season with the South Bay Lakers. But with the status of the G League unknown, this will give Stockton an immediate place to play.
The son of Jazz legend John Stockton, David Stockton is 5-foot-11 and has spent time in the NBA with the Kings (2014-15) and Jazz (2017-18). He appeared in three games with each team.
Other than that, he has played strictly in the G League and overseas. Along with South Bay, Stockton has spent extensive time with the Reno Bighorns.
Older brother Michael Stockton also plays professionally, mostly overseas, and spent one season with the Canton Charge.
