Donovan Mitchell will be making his return to the hardwood for Game 2 of the Utah Jazz-Memphis Grizzlies first-round playoff series, according to multiple sources including the Utah Jazz themselves.
Mitchell, who has been out since mid-April due to a bad ankle sprain, wasn’t too pleased about sitting Game 1 of the series, which ended up being a Grizzlies win.
“I was frustrated and upset,” Mitchell said. “I was ready to go. I was ready to go. … The biggest thing is moving forward. We got sh*t to handle. I understand you’ve got questions to ask.”
In order for the top-seeded Jazz to avoid being upset in this series, they’re going to need Mitchell to pick up where he left off from the rest of this series.
