The Houston Rockets plan on signing Khyri Thomas, according to Kelly Iko and Alykhan Bijani of The Athletic.
Thomas spent the last two seasons prior to this one with the Detroit Pistons, appearing in just 34 total games across both seasons.
In eight games with Detroit last season, Thomas showed a pretty significant improvement in his three-point shooting from the season prior, as his percentage went up from 28.6 to 35.7 in 0.5 more attempts per game.
With many minutes to be had in the Rockets guard rotation following the season-ending loss of John Wall, Thomas should have plenty of opportunities to showcase his talent during this last stretch of the season.
