Free agent center Vincent Poirier has agreed to a contract with Spanish club Real Madrid, according to Jose Luis Sanchez of LaSexta.
Poirier, 27, is 7-foot-0 and appeared in 10 games with the Philadelphia 76ers after being acquired in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder in December. He was then traded to the New York Knicks at the March 25 deadline — but the Knicks waived him shortly thereafter.
Poirer has also spent time with the Boston Celtics, signing on in 2019 after leading EuroLeague in rebounding. He has also played in the G League with the Maine Red Claws.
