The Clippers are on the lookout for point guard help and they are eyeing Rajon Rondo, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.
Shams Charania of The Athletic adds that the two sides are in “serious talks” and Lou Williams would head to either Atlanta or a third-team.
Rondo signed with the Hawks during the offseason but it simply hasn’t worked out. He’s played in just 27 games for Atlanta this season, averaging just 3.9 points per game.
Los Angeles has been linked numerous point guards leading up to the deadline. Lonzo Ball, Ricky Rubio, and George Hill were among the players that have been rumored to be in the mix for the Clippers.
