Head coach Lloyd Pierce will return to Atlanta Hawks for Tuesday night’s road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as relayed by Sarah K. Spence of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Pierce was forced to miss the Hawks’ win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday because of the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
The Hawks (13-17) have won two of three following a four-game losing streak. They will be without guard/forward Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee), point guard Kris Dunn (ankle) and of course, small forward De’Andre Hunter (knee surgery).
Swingman Cam Reddish (Achilles) is questionable and point guard Rajon Rondo (lower back) is probable.
The Cavs (10-21) have lost 10 straight, including a stinker Sunday at home vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.
