Thaddeus Young is the Bulls player who’s most likely to be traded, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago relays. The forward is in the second year of his three-year, $41 million deal, and given his age (32), he doesn’t really fit in Chicago’s long-term plans.
The Bulls have their sights set on making the playoffs, though that doesn’t mean they won’t make moves with the future in mind. Young has seen a consistent role this season under Billy Donovan after getting sporadic playing time last year, so it’s no guarantee they make a move.
It was previously reported that no player on Chicago is untouchable in trade talks with rookie Patrick Williams representing the closest to that status.
