Jayson Tatum will miss at least 10-14 days as part of the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
It’s no certain whether Tatum has contracted the coronavirus or if he was exposed to someone who was.
Tatum is the fourth member of the Celtics who has been ruled out because of COVID-19-related precautions. Robert Williams reportedly tested positive for the virus while Grant Williams and Tristan Thompson are both quarantining because of potential exposure.
The NBA’s COVID-19 issues has risen of late. Sixers’ Seth Curry tested positive and the Sixers had several players sit out as a precaution. Mavs saw three players enter quarantine and the Nuggets will be without Michael Porter Jr. for an extended period as a result of COVID-19 precations.
