The Knicks have waived free agent small forward Louis King just a few hours after signing him, the team announced Thursday.
This marks the second time King has been waived this week, as he was among the cuts by the Pistons (which also involved LiAngelo Ball) earlier this week.
King is 6-foot-7 and went undrafted out of Oregon in 2019. He appeared in 10 games with the Pistons last season, spending most of his time with the Grand Rapids Drive of the G League.
He could now be headed back to the G League with the Knicks’ affiliate in Westchester.
King is a native of New Jersey and a former McDonald’s All-American.
