The Miami Heat have now won their fourth game of this young season. They have improved to 4-5 overall and 3-2 on the road after a 95-94 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. This was a close game throughout and the Heat were able to win dramatically. With 7.8 seconds on the clock Nikola Jovic was able to finish an And-1 layup after an inbounds past from Duncan Robinson. Terry Rozier was able to set a superb backscreen to spring Jovic free for the layup.
Tyler Herro led the way for the Miami Heat with 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting. Herro grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists as well for the Heat. Herro’s play for this upcoming stretch will be extremely vital to the Heat’s success. Jimmy Butler could miss some significant time due to the ankle injury he sustained the game prior to this one. Performances like these will have Herro on the right track.
