The Orlando Magic found their way back to the win column with a 117-110 win over the Indiana Pacers. The Magic snapped a four-game losing skid with the victory. The Magic are now 17-11 overall and are sitting in fourth place in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. The Magic are also in first place in the Southeast division. They hold a half-game lead over the Miami Heat. Magic Head Coach Jamahl Mosely had strong praise for his team postgame after the win.
“I love that we played the right way,” Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said. “People always say what is the right way. It’s taking what the game gives you. You’re not forcing it. You’re not chasing it. You’re finding the right situation.”
Paolo Banchero led the way for the Magic with 34 points on 11-for-20 shooting. Banchero knocked down 12-for-16 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed seven rebounds, dished out four assists, and recorded a steal. Banchero spoke postgame about his team’s performance and getting back in the win column.
“Obviously dropping four straight, we were desperate to get back in the win column,” Banchero said. “So everyone was really focused on what we had to do to win the game. We knew it was going to be our defense that we had to do it with”
