The Orlando Magic has now won seven games in a row. The Magic defeated the Charlotte Hornets 130-117 to earn their 12th victory. They are now 12-5 overall and an impressive 7-2 at home at the Amway Center this year. Franz Wagner scored 30 points on 11-for-15 shooting. Wagner grabbed seven rebounds, dished out two assists, and recorded two steals. Wagner spoke on the Magic’s strong performance postgame.
“I think everybody in the building believes so and that’s what made this,” he said. “That’s how it starts for us, I think — the change in our mentality compared to the last two years.”
“It wasn’t our best start, it wasn’t our best game, but you can’t be mad about a win in the NBA,” said Anthony, who also had seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. “We’ve got to approach everything the exact same way. We’ve set a standard for ourselves and we need to maintain that standard.”
Cole Anthony scored 30 points as well off of the bench. Anthony scored his 30 on 9-for-16 shooting. Anthony knocked down 1-for-3 from behind the three-point line. He knocked down 11-for-12 from the free-throw line. Anthony grabbed seven rebounds, dished out seven assists, and recorded two steals.
