The Washington Wizards once again find themselves in the win column. The Wizards defeated the Charlotte Hornets at home in Washington D.C., 106-102. The Wizards have now improved to 10-7 overall on the season. They are also 7-4 overall at home. The Wizards now wrap up their six-game homestand with five victories. Wizards Head Coach Wes Unseld Jr. spoke on the victory postgame.
“We looked a little sluggish,” Unseld said. “Obviously made enough plays, especially in the second half. Were able to hold on.”
Unseld wasn’t ecstatic about the win but of course he and the Wizards will take every win they can get. There is a long season ahead and it is vital to be able to protect home as much as they can.
Kyle Kuzma led the way for the Wizards with 28 points on 10-for-18 shooting from the field. Kuzma knocked down 4-for-8 from behind the three-point line. Kuzma grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out five assists.
Bradley Beal scored 26 points on 11-for-22 shooting from the field. Beal knocked down 3-for-8 from behind the three-point line. He also grabbed four rebounds and dished out five asissts.

The Wizards will travel to Miami this week to face the Miami Heat. They will face the Heat in Miami on both 11/23 and 11/25. Tip-off on 11/23 is at 7:30 pm and 11/25 at 8 pm.
