The Houston Rockets have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent center DeMarcus Cousins, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
Cousins, 30, has suffered an array of injuries since a trade that sent him from the Sacramento Kings to the New Orleans Pelicans in February 2017. The list includes a torn Achilles and a torn ACL.
He has since spent time with the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, but has failed to produce his All-Star numbers of his pre-injury days.
Cousins has only played in 78 games over the last three seasons. It is not yet clear if he will be ready for the start of training camp.
Nor is it known if guards James Harden and Russell Westbrook will still be on the team. Each has reportedly requested a trade.
