Former top-10 pick Greg Monroe has joined the Timberwolves via a 10-day deal with the franchise.
Free agent center Greg Monroe plans to sign a 10-day contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

The Timberwolves have a long list of players in the COVID protocols, including Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards. Chris Silva and Rayjon Tucker were recently added to the team via 10-day deals and Monroe will come in to provide additional depth.
The Georgetown product last played in the NBA during the 2018-19 season with the Celtics and Sixers. He spent part of this season with the Capital City Go-Go (Washington’s G League affiliate).
