Let’s take a look at some of the latest injury and availability notes from around the NBA:
- Jordan Poole has entered the league’s health and safety protocols. He’ll miss at least Friday’s matchup with the Warriors.
- Al Horford and Grant Williams are both out on Friday due to the protocols. Boston canceled their shootaround on Friday morning but the game is expected to go on, which could allow Enes Freedom (formally Enes Kanter) some additional run.
- The Magic will be without Terrence Ross, Moritz Wagner, and R.J. Hampton (health & safety protocols) on Friday against the Heat. Perhaps Mychal Mulder picks up some extra backcourt run.
- Russell Westbrook is among the long list of Lakers in the health and safety protocols. Los Angeles is also without Malik Monk, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Dwight Howard.
- Isaac Okoro was placed in the league’s health and safety protocols. Cleveland’s next game is Saturday vs. Milwaukee and while the Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday because of the COVID protocols, it’s unclear whether the former MVP will be back for the Cavs’ contest.
