Let’s take a look at the latest injury notes from around the NBA:
- Luka Doncic will miss the Mavericks’ game against Charlotte on Monday night as he’s dealing with left ankle soreness. Dallas will also be without Sterling Brown and Willey Cauley-Stein, per the team.
- Mohamed Bamba exited the Magic-Lakers game on Sunday with a right ankle sprain. Robin Lopez got some run with Orlando after the injury, though Wendell Carter Jr. was on the floor for the team as they closed the game. It’s unclear at this time whether Bamba will miss much time.
- It was reported over the weekend that Zion Williamson has suffered a setback in his road back to the court. The former No. 1 overall pick’s foot has not healed from surgery the way team doctors had anticipated, according to ESPN’s Andrew Lopez.
- The Pistons will be without Jerami Grant for at least 6 weeks after spraining his thumb. That timeline would allow Grant to get back onto the court toward the end of January, which is a few weeks ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
- Aaron Gordon is questionable for Monday night’s contest with the Wizards because of back pain. The forward played 32 minutes for the Nuggets on Saturday vs. the Spurs seemingly without an issue.
