The Miami Heat improved to 12-6 on the season. The Heat defeated the Detroit Pistons 100-92. Tyler Herro scored 31 points on 12 of 21 shooting from the field. Herro scored over 30 points off of the bench for the second time this season. He is also averaging 22 points per game as a Sixth Man. Herro also had eight rebounds and three assists. Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra spoke on Tyler’s virtuoso performance and his team’s performance as well.

“It wasn’t just Tyler. Our whole second unit turned the game around in the third quarter,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “We really didn’t have any offensive rhythm in the first three quarters — and Detroit had a lot to do with that — but we put together some stops and that helped us get going offensively.”
Tyler Herro spoke on the game he played postgame. His play this season has spoke volumes about his mindset and the work he has put in to get better.
“We played sluggishly for three quarters, but we got rolling in the fourth,” said Herro, who had 14 points in the fourth. “I’ve always been the guy who took big shots, all the way back to high school, so this is the situation I love. I want to win games.”
