It’s looking like Evan Mobley may begin the season as the team’s starting power forward.
The No. 3 overall pick showcased his mobileness during Summer League and as Kelsey Russo of The Athletic notes, if Mobley gets the nod alongside Jarrett Allen in the frontcourt, that means Kevin Love and Larry Nance Jr. will both come off the bench.
As for the backcourt, Russo envisions new addition Ricky Rubio coming off the bench, leaving Collin Sexton and Darius Garland to start alongside each other again.
