The NBA and players union have a greed to collective bargaining adjustments, with the league announcing that the season will start Dec. 22.
As has previously been reported, training camps are set for Dec. 1, and the regular season will consist of 72 games.
Free agent negotiations will begin on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. EST, with signings starting at 12:01 p.m. on Nov. 22.
The NBA draft is scheduled for Nov. 18.
“The salary cap is going to be set at $109.1 million, and the luxury tax will be $132.6 million — the same numbers they were during the 2019-20 season, before the league’s finances took a drastic hit as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” ESPN reported.
